The police in the Oshana region have re-arrested Immanuel Ndaoya well known as Cabana, who allegedly escaped from Onandjokwe Hospital in the early hours of Sunday. The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) Regional Community Affairs Officer, Inspector Thomas Aiyambo confirmed that the suspect was re-arrested during the afternoon at Enkono village, near the Andimba Toivo Ya Toivo Airport. Ndaoya, a suspect in an alleged housebreaking incident at Omwandi on Saturday, was arrested at the Onandjokwe Hospital on charges of housebreaking and theft, where he was admitted for injuries sustained during the housebreaking incident. He now faces an additional charge of escaping from lawful custody, Aiyambo said.
