Mrs. Tuty DITYAWANTY, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Burkina Faso with residence in Abuja and Madam Honorary Consul of Indonesia in Burkina Faso Fabiola ZONGO, were received in audience this October 11 by Karamoko Jean Marie TRAORE, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation and Burkinabe Abroad. During their discussions, the two parties reviewed cooperation between Burkina Faso and Indonesia, with a view to visa exemption for citizens of both countries, holders of diplomatic and service passports. To this end, they agreed to continue discussions with a view to signing an Agreement soon. On the occasion of this audience, the Indonesian delegation handed over a financial envelope of 300,000 CFA francs, as a contribution to the peace effort in Burkina Faso, a sum mobilized by the ten Indonesians living in the country of upright men. Cooperation between Burkina Faso and the Republic of Indonesia was formalized in 1996, and it concerns areas such as technical assistance, particularly for th e acquisition of agricultural equipment, inputs, and training on livestock feed production techniques, and now academic training.
