Washington - The United States appreciates the 'crucial voice' of His Majesty King Mohammed VI in 'advancing a more peaceful and secure Middle East region,' said the U.S. State Department spokesperson in a statement issued following Tuesday's meeting in Washington D.C. between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, and the U.S. Secretary of State, Antony Blinken. The Secretary highlighted "Morocco's leadership in responding to humanitarian needs in Gaza, supporting stabilization in the West Bank, and contributing to the revitalization of the Palestinian Authority,' the statement added.
