Rabat - HM King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences and compassion to the family of the prominent late journalist Belaid Bouimid, who passed away on Tuesday in Casablanca. In the message, His Majesty the King states that he had learned with deep sorrow of the news of the late Bouimid's death, imploring the Almighty to accept him among the Virtuous faithful and welcome him into His vast paradise. 'In this painful ordeal, We express to you and to all the family and friends of the deceased, as well as to his national media and sports family, Our heartfelt condolences and sincere feelings of compassion, following the loss of one of the pioneers of sports journalism in Morocco, who contributed with great professionalism, thanks to his extensive culture and creativity, to the development of sports press in our country and to enriching its national library', the Sovereign writes. His Majesty the King affirmed that He shares the pain of the deceased's family in this painful ordeal, remembering with great es teem the moral qualities of the deceased and his sincere patriotism. 'We pray to God to grant you patience and comfort, as well as to amply reward the deceased and to welcome him into His vast paradise, for his praiseworthy deeds on behalf of his country,' the message adds. "And give good news to those who patiently endure who say, when struck by a disaster, +Surely to Allah we belong and to Him we will all return+. True is the word of God,' the message concludes.
