A leading member of the Movement for Change, founded by independent presidential candidate Alan Kyerematen, Nana Ohene Ntow, has clashed with Bawumia's Spokesperson, Gideon Boako, over the "One District, One Factory" initiative. This confrontation arose after Nana Ohene Ntow touted Alan Kyerematen as the originator of the "One District, One Factory" policy, claiming that Kyerematen suggested its inclusion in President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's 2017 manifesto. During his submissions on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" show, he said, "Alan Kyerematen, who was just a minister, was able to bring the idea of 'One District, One Factory' to employ and empower people. 'Alan was able to help the government through enterprises, and businesses have become billionaires under Alan's leadership in the NPP." As he spoke, Gideon Boako interjected, stating that the "One District, One Factory" initiative was not Alan Kyerematen's but rather a promise under the NPP Akufo-Addo manifesto, which he said is the fact. Nana Ohene Ntow responded, insisting that Alan Kyerematen was the one who brought the whole idea of "One District, One Factory." Gideon Boako interjected again, saying, 'That is not true.'
