Al-Quds - More than 4,000 children from the Al-Quds have benefited from the 2024 summer school program launched by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency at the beginning of August. Sponsored by the Agency's "Children's Club for Al-Quds", with funding from the Moroccan Cultural Centre Association, this program is an opportunity for the children to benefit from entertaining and educational activities in a friendly and joyful setting. Operating under the personal supervision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency launched this program despite the difficult circumstances facing the Holy City in particular and Palestine in general, thus reaffirming its firm determination to support the Al-Quds inhabitants through its various initiatives. Held under the banner "To enshrine the values of unity and solidarity", the program intends to enable beneficiary establishments to offer children a safe and welcoming environment, focused on support, counselling and appropriate educational activities, to he lp them overcome the difficult circumstances facing Al-Quds and Palestine, through 150 art, drama and games workshops. In addition, the summer school program includes a number of first aid courses run by qualified trainers. It also features training in best practice in safety and security, both at home and at school, particularly in emergency situations. This year's program is spread throughout the neighbourhoods of Al-Quds and the areas outside the wall, where four camps dedicated to the history of the displaced villages have been set up, alongside another camp for architecture students, whose activities focus on the preparation of architectural designs for certain facilities in the stricken Gaza Strip. In this context, several Palestinian personalities commended HM King Mohammed VI's support, praising the role of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency in defending the Holy City and its inhabitants, particularly children.
