M'diq - Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch said on Thursday in M'diq, that the Government is determined to accelerate the pace of investments in the mobilization and management of water resources. In a statement to the press following a meeting of the steering committee for the National Drinking Water Supply and Irrigation Program 2020-2027, the Government Chief stressed that this meeting comes after HM King Mohammed VI's important Speech to the Nation on Throne Day, with a particular focus on water issues following more than six years of drought in a row. 'Today's meeting was an opportunity to review all the projects included in the program, to define their priorities and to establish the timetable for their implementation,' he said, adding that each project must have a timetable that sets out its beginning and end.
