Dmytro Kryskiv drew first blood for Ukraine in the 22nd minute before Soufiane Rahimi scored a penalty to equalize in the 64th minute. However, in a dramatic ending, Ukraine scored the 2nd goal in the last minute of addition time (90'+8) through Krasnopir.
