Freetown - HM King Mohammed VI's strategic vision and leadership have played a crucial role in positioning Morocco as a key economic player on the African continent, said Sierra Leone's Minister of Public Administration and Political Affairs, Amara Kallon. In a statement to MAP on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the enthronement of HM King Mohammed VI, Kallon said that Morocco's increasing investment and economic partnerships across Africa, particularly under the leadership of King Mohammed VI, can indeed be seen as a 'manifestation of Africa's burgeoning confidence in its own capabilities and potential,' adding that the Kingdom's investments are contributing to the diversification and growth of African economies. Morocco's 'proactive approach' to investment in Africa 'highlights a sense of pan-African solidarity,' he underlined. The ascension of HM King Mohammed VI to the Throne of His glorious ancestors in 1999 marked the beginning of a period of 'significant transformation' for Morocco, in that emphasis was placed on both economic development and social reforms, aiming to modernize the country and improve the quality of life for its citizens, he noted.
