1 dead, 1 injured in chemical explosion near ChicagoCHICAGO — A chemical explosion at W.R. Meadows Inc. in Hampshire Friday morning left one person dead and another critically injured, Hampshire Fire Protection District Chief Trevor Herrmann said.
