During the electioneering period, most politicians go all out to demonstrate their commitments to electorates. One such example is John Dumelo, a renowned actor and parliamentary candidate for the Ayawaso West Constituency who brought relief to some residents of Okponglo who were facing acute water shortage. In a post shared on his X page on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, John Dumelo stated that he received a distress call from Okponglo that residents were having water shortage. "I had a call at 4:30 am from Okponglo that they had no water and they needed my help. I responded," he narrated. He promptly responded with three tanks filled with water in a truck for distribution. In a video accompanying the post, he is seen assisting residents carry their water receptacles from getting the water he was providing them. Source: Ghana Web
