President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has advised Ghanaians against voting for John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the pending December 7 elections. According to him, voting for the National Democratic Congress's John Mahama will set the country back to underdevelopment and hardship, citinewsroom.com reported. Nana Addo encouraged Ghanaians to reject Mahama and the NDC in the upcoming general elections because they have no new solutions for the betterment of the country. President Akufo-Addo added that Dr Bawumia is the best candidate to lead Ghana's development and maintain progress. He stated this during his speech at the sod-cutting ceremony for the expansion of the Tema Motorway on August 26, 2024. He said, 'We are going forward. We are not going back to the era of stagnation and non-performance. We are going forward with [Dr. Mahamudu] Bawumia to a better, more inclusive and more prosperous Ghana.' Source: Ghana Web
