New York (United Nations) - Saint Kitts and Nevis has reaffirmed, in New York, its support for the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of Morocco as well as for the autonomy plan as "the only realistic solution" to the regional dispute over the Sahara. "The Moroccan autonomy initiative is the only credible, serious and realistic solution" to the artificial conflict over the Sahara, said Tuesday the representative of Saint Kitts and Nevis, before the 4th Committee of the United Nations General Assembly, adding that her country supports the settlement of this regional dispute while respecting the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of Morocco. The diplomat also highlighted the efforts made by the Kingdom to boost socio-economic development in the southern provinces, thanks to the new development model launched in 2015.
