On August 2, Chargé d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Chad, Qin Hao, was interviewed by the director of the reporting department of the newspaper Progress, which has the largest circulation in Chad, and answered questions on China-Chad cooperation and Taiwan issues.
Regarding the Taiwan issue, Qin introduced the historical perspective and latitude of the issue, and expounded China’s solemn position on the US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan. territorial integrity, and all consequences arising therefrom will be borne by the United States. Qin appreciated Chad’s adherence to the one-China principle and hoped that Chad would understand and support China’s position on relevant issues.
