The benchmark index continued the upward trend that began in November, gaining 0.4% in the week from December 11 to 15 to stand at 8646.34 points, according to broker Tunisie Valeurs. Its performance since the beginning of the year stands at +6.8%. Trading was brisk thanks to five block trades, totalling TND 37.9 million, with an average daily volume of TND 7.6 million. Trading was boosted by three block transactions worth a total of TND 21.4 million involving Amen Bank shares, and two transactions of TND 2.6 million of the Maghrebia Insurance shares. Analysis of Stock Performances UADH shares once again topped the charts. The car dealer's share posted the best performance of the week, up 18.9% to TND 0.630, attracting a flow of TND 83,000. SOMOCER shares were among the week's biggest winners. The ceramic specialist's shares were up 13.2% to TND 0.770, generating a trading volume of TND 191,000 over the whole week. SANIMED was the market's bottom performer. The share price fell by 8.8% to TND 1.250, wi th a modest trading volume of TND 3,000.
