Tanzania: towards an investment of nearly $260 million in the production of improved seeds

The Tanzanian government plans to invest 650 billion shillings ($259.4 million) to increase local production of improved seeds over the next two years. This investment project should enable local industry to ultimately supply 75% of the demand for improved seeds compared to a current coverage level of 50%.
