Paris - Morocco's Saida Amoudi won the bronze medal in the shot put (F34) on Tuesday as part of the para-athletics competitions at Paris-2024 Paralympic Games. Amoudi earned a spot on the third step of the podium after a throw of 7.80 m. Gold medal went to China's Zou Lijuan (9.14 m), record-holder of the sport (9.25 m), while silver medal went to Poland's Lucyna Kornobys (8.33 m). This marks Morocco's 6th medal (2 silver, 4 bronze) at the Paris Paralympic Games. Fatima Zahra El Idrissi (1500 m/T13) and Abdelilah Gani (shot put/F53) secured silver medals while Aymane El Haddaoui (100 m/T47), Ayoub Adouich (-63 kg/K44) and Rajae Akermach (+65 kg/K44) took bronze medals in para-taekwondo.
