NATIONAL RECONCILIATION: the leader of the MDJT received by the PCMT

The President of the Transitional Military Council, General MAHAMAT IDRISS DEBY ITNO,  received in audience this morning the leader of the Movement for Democracy and Justice in Chad, MDJT, Mr. CHOUA DAZI .

This meeting is part of the policy of outstretched hands and national reconciliation advocated by the Head of State, whose doors remain open.

Following many exiles and political opponents, he received this Tuesday the leader of the MDJT, one of the armed groups signatories of the Doha agreement, who returned home on August 19 to participate in the Inclusive National Dialogue and Sovereign.

These exchanges, which are in line with the exchanges and the permanent consultation with all the sensitivities of the country, instituted by the Head of State, have enabled CHOUA DAZI to appreciate the intimate conviction of the President of the Military Council of Transition and his desire to positively change the course of his country’s history.

The consensual and inclusive approach of the President of the Republic to decide on the future of the country is for the leaders of the MDJT, the beginning of progress and the concretization of the New Chad.

The MDJT, which has no doubt as to the will of the Head of State, General MAHAMAT IDRISS DEBY ITNO to keep the commitments that he and his companions made on April 20, 2021, calls on the still reluctant armed movements to regain the home to bring their note to the symphony of national reconciliation.
