The Moroccan national futsal team has been named the best worldwide in 2023 by Futsalplanet.com, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) announced on Sunday. This title comes in the wake of the team's impressive achievements over recent years, including winning three CAF Africa Cup of Nations titles, three Arab Cups, and reaching the quarter-finals of the FIFA Futsal World Cup in Lithuania, FRMF said on its website. The squad is gearing up for the forthcoming World Cup, which will be held in Uzbekistan from September 14 to October 6, 2024.
