Medical Aid to Gaza: Royal Initiative to Boost Palestinians’ Morale (Palestinian Minister)

Rabat - The humanitarian medical aid to the Palestinian population in Gaza will boost the morale of the population, Palestinian Minister of Jerusalem Affairs, Ashraf Al Aawar, said. In a statement to MAP on the sidelines of the launch of the "Bayt Al Maqdis" Research and Study Center, Al Aawar expressed his thanks and gratitude to HM the King and the Moroccan people for this aid which will boost the morale of the population in the Gaza Strip. He added that Morocco's efforts contribute to alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people in this delicate situation, noting that this aid is not the first of its kind since others were delivered to the Gaza Strip. Al Aawar also praised the major and active role of HM King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al Quds Committee and His High Directives to the Bayt Mal Al Quds Acharif Agency to strengthen the resistance of Al Quds population, through projects targeting several sectors such as education and health, adding that these projects contribute positively and effe ctively to maintain services of several institutions in the Holy City. His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, has given His Very High Instructions to deploy a humanitarian medical aid operation for the Palestinian population of Gaza, consisting of 40 tons of medical products containing, in particular, equipment for treating burns and surgical and traumatological emergencies, as well as essential medicines.
