The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced a substantial increase in prize money for domestic football competitions. A total of GHS 2,006,000 will be distributed across the Ghana Premier League, Division One League, Women's football, and other competitions. This was revealed during the 30th Ordinary Congress at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Pampram. GFA President Kurt Okraku emphasised the association's commitment to recognising excellence and motivating clubs to achieve success. While the exact breakdown of the prize money was not disclosed, further details are expected as the various competitions are launched. The Ghana Premier League is set to begin on September 6, with the Division One League following on September 27. The Women's Premier League will commence on October 18.
