Ex-NPP General Secretary ropes Mohammed Kudus into Alan Kyerematen and NPP saga

Nana Ohene Ntow, a former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party, has likened the role of Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen in the Akufo-Addo government to the role of West Ham United star Mohammed Kudus in the Black Stars. According to him, while the Akufo-Addo government can be said to have performed poorly, Alan Kyerematen has distinguished himself as the standout star of the government. Despite his admission that Ghana under Akufo-Addo has regressed, the leading member of the Movement for Change holds that Alan Kyerematen is the brightest spot and therefore deserves no criticism for his performance. He noted that despite the recent challenges of the Black Stars, Mohammed Kudus has been a revelation and impressed greatly with his performances. While Nana Ohene Ntow admits that the principle of ultimate responsibility discredits his claim of innocence on the part of Alan Kyerematen, he also believes that the principle of individual responsibility shields Alan Kyerematen from any such blame as he was success ful as a Minister of Trade and Industry. 'In every team, there is a player who, regardless of the results, gets praised for his performance. I don't know Mohammed Kudus, but even when Ghana loses a game, he's the one who gets the credit. If someone performs well in a team and they lose, he still gets praised,' he said. Kudus Mohammed has been a standout performer for both the Black Stars and his club, West Ham United. At the 2023 AFCON held in Ivory Coast, Mohammed Kudus played two of Ghana's three group games. The West Ham midfielder bagged a brace against Egypt and was instrumental against Mozambique. At club level, Kudus enjoyed a stellar debut season in England, hitting 14 goals and six assists across all competitions. Source: Ghana Web
