Kigali: The Nigeria Cricket Senior Women's team lost by 6 runs to Zimbabwe HPC in their first game at the ongoing 11th Kwibuka Women's tournament in Kigali, Rwanda. Nigeria won the toss and opted to field first at the Gahanga B Cricket oval on Tuesday. According to News Agency of Nigeria, the team limited the Zimbabwe side to 98 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Zimbabwe chased the score to 104 runs for eight wickets, also in 20 overs, securing victory by six runs. Nigeria will face Brazil on Wednesday in the nine-national tournament. The annual tournament is held in remembrance of the 1994 genocide in Rwanda.
