Burkina: A public conference to reflect on the contribution of the Laongo granite sculpture symposium to national development

As part of the 14th edition of the Laongo granite sculpture symposium, a public conference is being held this Saturday morning in Ziniaré, on the theme '35 years of creation: what contribution to national development?'. According to the speaker Edwige Zagré, Professor at Norbert Zongo University, "Laongo is a unifying element of national reconciliation and a culture of peace (...), an open-air museum and unique in its kind in Africa, (...), a cultural site with a tourist vocation, registered on the national heritage list in 2023".
