Botswana has granted a 15-year mining license to Giyani Metals for its K.Hill project, located near Gaborone. This site will become the country's first producer of battery-grade manganese. With an expected annual production of 80,000 tonnes, the project will supply the electric vehicle industry for over 57 years. Source: Africa News Agency
