Botswana: Discovery of the second largest diamond in the world

Botswana President Mokgweetsi Masisi has unveiled the world's second largest rough diamond, a 2,492-carat stone, discovered at the Karowe mine by Canadian company Lucara Diamond. The find highlights the importance of mining to Botswana's economy, despite the current challenges in the diamond market.
