Ouagadougou: Operation FLASH carried out by the 19th Rapid Intervention Battalion, from August 6 to 10, 2024 in the Manni area made it possible to neutralize 86 terrorists, capture 2 others and seize equipment in the hands of terrorists. The captain nicknamed 'Thor', the Norse god of fire and thunder, commander of the 19th Rapid Intervention Battalion and his fighters successfully conducted Operation ECLAIR from August 6 to 10 in the Manni area. During this operation, the combat forces neutralized 86 terrorists, including terrorist fighters, lookouts and supply elements. Two terrorists were also captured and important materials recovered. From security sources we note on the friendly side, 4 injured including 2 evacuated. The source specifies that all are in a very stable condition. The two other injured people were treated on site.
