Fnideq - Customs and police officers foiled, on Saturday at the Bab Sebta crossing point, an attempt to traffic 22 kg of chira, according to a customs source. The illicit substance had been carefully concealed in a double bottom located in the spare tire area of a vehicle registered in Morocco and driven by a Moroccan expatriate, holding a French passport, the same source added. The suspect was handed over to the local police and will be transferred to the judicial police for further investigation, under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office.
