Rabat - Locally heavy rainfall is expected on Saturday and Sunday in several provinces of the Kingdom, the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM) announced. Showers (15-35mm) are expected in the provinces of Tangier-Assilah, Fahs-Anjra, Mdiq-Fnideq, Tetouan, Chefchaouen, Larache and Kenitra from Saturday at 6.00 pm to Sunday at 9.00 am, the DGM said in an orange weather alert. Downpours are also expected on Sunday from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm in the provinces of Khémisset, Sidi Slimane, Sidi Kacem, Ouezzane, Meknès, El Hajeb, Fès, Moulay Yacoub, Taza, Taounate, Al Hoceima and Driouch, the DGM added.
