Botswana on Wednesday inaugurated the Moshupa Sewerage System, a new wastewater treatment plant located in Moshupa village in the Southern District. The facility, which has a network of over 360 km of sewerage pipes and a treatment system capable of handling 6.3 million litres, also includes ten pumping stations and a 4.7 km access road. President Mokgweetsi Masisi highlighted the importance of the project in ensuring access to safe drinking water and sanitation services, for agricultural development and public health. Other similar projects are planned under the National Development Plan No. 12. Source: Africa News Agency
