Ghana: United Arab Emirates invests $30 million for biodiversity

The United Arab Emirates has announced a $30 million investment in Ghana to support biodiversity and climate projects. The commitment comes from a letter of intent signed by the UAE's Minister of Climate Change, Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak Al Shamsi, and Ghana's Minister of Lands, Samuel Jinapor. The partnership, which is part of the country's Resilient Ghana strategy, targets six priority areas, including reforestation and agroecology, while promoting gender equality and youth empowerment.
