The 1st Dhu al-Hijjah of the year 1445 H corresponds to Saturday, June 08, 2024 and Eid Al Adha will be celebrated on Monday, June 17 in Morocco, the ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced Friday. In a statement, the ministry said it had observed the crescent moon after the Al Maghrib prayer on Friday 29 Dhu al-Qa'dah 1445 H, corresponding to 07 June 2024, and confirmed the sighting of the lunar crescent announcing the start of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah 1445 H. Therefore, the month of Dhu al-Hijjah will begin on Saturday June 08, 2024, and Eid Al Adha will be celebrated on Monday Dhu al-Hijjah 10, 1445 H, corresponding to June 17, 2024, according to the same source.
