The government has mobilized over $500 million to fund innovation and entrepreneurship in the country's digital sector. This was announced on August 25 by Bosun Tijani, Minister of Digital Economy, at a dinner organized by the technology community in Abuja.

The funds, which have been raised from multilateral development banks and international financial institutions, will be used to support innovation and accompany local start-ups at various stages of their growth.
