Rabat - A Palestinian delegation praised, on Tuesday in Rabat, His Majesty King Mohammed VI's noble and generous initiatives to alleviate the suffering of Palestinians. In a statement to the press following talks between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, and a Palestinian delegation on a working visit to the Kingdom on the invitation of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency, the Palestinian Minister of Al-Quds Affairs, Ashraf Al Aawar, highlighted Morocco's efforts, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, to help the Palestinian people. He seized the opportunity to convey the heartfelt thanks of the President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, to His Majesty the King for His noble and generous initiatives to alleviate the suffering of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip through the deployment of a new humanitarian medical aid operation. Al Aawar added that the Palestinian people hope that other Arab countries will follow the example of the Kingdom of Morocco in providing aid to the Palestinian population, particularly in Gaza. The Palestinian Minister also stressed that the talks with Bourita enabled the members of the delegation to give an overview of the current situation in the Gaza Strip and to share the suffering endured by the Palestinian people at this difficult time.
