OIC Banjul Summit: Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency Showcases Palestinian Products

Banjul - The Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, an offshoot of the Al-Quds Committee, chaired by HM the King Mohammed VI, inaugurated, in Banjul on Thursday, exhibitions of Palestinian products on the sidelines of the 15th session of the Islamic Summit Conference held by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). In a press release, the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency said that it had inaugurated an exhibition of local products, handicrafts, jewelry and embroidery reflecting the Maqdessian and Palestinian identity, as part of the 'ICDT Invest Days' organized on May 2-3 by the OIC's Islamic Center for Development of Trade (ICDT). The Agency is also organizing an exhibition of olive tree products under the theme "The Olive Tree of Peace", according to the press release. The same source adds that the Agency is also presenting the outcome of its action in Al-Quds through an exhibition of photos and paintings highlighting the Agency's humanitarian and social programs, projects and interventions in the Holy Ci ty, as well as examples of products from associations and institutions funded under the Agency's "Civil Initiatives for Human Development" program. The Agency is also exhibiting archive photos of previous sessions of the Al Quds Committee, as well as the 2023 activity report, the report on the Agency's silver jubilee celebrations under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, and a photo album on the operation to deliver humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Al Quds and Gaza during the month of Ramadan, ordered by His Majesty the King, may God preserve Him.
