Rome - The Moroccan market offers a 'dynamic' and 'diverse' economic landscape, writes Italian magazine Entrepreneurial Management. In an article titled 'Morocco and its huge economic opportunities,' the magazine notes that the Kingdom is an 'active stakeholder' in the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), 'with the goal of accelerating intra-African trade and strengthening Africa's trade position in the global market.' Morocco's geostrategic policies are geared towards strengthening intermodal logistics and port services and boosting exports, the magazine underlines, adding that as one of the most important countries in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, Morocco has also implemented several political and economic reforms during the recent years, opening up the country to foreign investment and promoting a modern economy. The article also stresses that 'trade relations between Italy and Morocco are steadily developing,' with a significant increase in trade volume to over pound 2 billio n a year. The Italian magazine also writes that the "Italy-Africa Summit: Bridge for Common Growth," which took place in January and was the first international meeting of the G7 presidency, demonstrates the importance Italy attaches to partnership with African nations. The Summit was also an opportunity to reflect on the importance of the different cooperation projects launched by the Kingdom, notably in terms of energy, according to the article. In this regard, the Italian media outlet highlights the Morocco-Nigeria gas pipeline project, which "will also supply 11 countries along its route, generating benefits for over 400 million people and strengthening the energy sovereignty of the concerned countries."
