Rabat - The Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, held talks on Monday in Rabat with the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Belgium, Alexander De Croo, who is on a working visit to Morocco as part of the 3rd meeting of the Moroccan-Belgian High Joint Partnership Commission. In the discussions, both parties expressed their satisfaction with the strong bilateral relations and their qualitative growth in recent years. They aimed to establish a strategic partnership aligned with the visions of HM King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, and King Philippe of Belgium, according to a press release from the Department of the Head of Government. The officials explored avenues to bolster the Rabat-Brussels partnership, aiming to renew it in line with the long-standing friendship between the two nations, capitalizing on the substantial potential that exists. The meeting also highlighted the joint declaration adopted in Rabat in October 2022, emphasizing the importance of regular political dialogue and structuring the Moroc can-Belgian partnership across various areas of mutual interest. The talks were attended by Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, along with Hadja Lahbib, Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs, Foreign Trade, and the Federal Cultural Institutions.
