The Founder of the All People's Congress (APC), Hassan Ayariga, has said he is getting onto the election train once again in an attempt to win the December 7, 2024, polls and possibly become Ghana's first president from a 'third force.' And for him, he is the only candidate in the race so far with the best ideas that can totally transform the Ghanaian landscape and spur the image of the nation as a policy-driven country to world-class levels. In his interview with Etsey Atisu on GhanaWeb TV on Election Deck, the former independent candidate, and former presidential candidate of the People's National Convention explains what his groundbreaking policies are. In his own words, "If you ask me what message the NDC and NPP have for Ghanaians, they have no ideas but I have the ideas." This is besides the admission he made that the two leading political parties (the New Patriotic Party and the National Democratic Congress) have monetised the political terrain of the country. "Campaign is expensive; very expensi ve and it's not been easy going around. The two major political parties have monetised political campaigns and because of that, any leader who must go out and campaign in a day must be looking in between a GHS100,000 to GHS250,000 or GHS 350,000 within a day," he explained. Hassan Ayariga also outlined several errors he has identified in the governance of Ghana and how his innovative policies can cause a major positive shift for the country.
