Don’t be complacent until the election is won for Dr Bawumia, all ye NPP faithful

Complacency, as the writer wants to hammer it home to the NPP faithful and anyone wishing to see Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia elected the president of Ghana, is to warn them against the dangers of being too certain about an issue only to end up being taken by surprise. As it is in the proverb, 'curiosity killed the cat," used to warn of the dangers of unnecessary investigation or experimentation," so is complacency defined as 'a feeling of quiet pleasure or security, often while unaware of some potential danger, defect, or the like.'. Both situations are not good, hence often advised against. I am advising all those who wish to see Dr. Bawumia win the 7 December 2024 general election to get out of the comfort zones of their homes to hit the ground doing home-to-home and door-to-door campaigning to garner winnable votes for him and the NPP. The road to victory for the NPP in the 2024 election is dotted with hurdles that need to be crossed successfully before reaching their destination. One will be tickling thems elves and laughing if one thinks that the election will be won for Dr. Bawumia on the silver platter of his launched 2024 manifesto. No, a lot of strategy and honest, persuasive explanations must be done. Some of the obstacles along the way are: The harsh living standards of the people. This must be acknowledged, then explained why it has come about and how it will be resolved in the end. The lies are being fed to the public by the NDC through their propaganda machinery. Cite palpable examples of the NDC caught spewing lies and planning to cause deliberate harm to the population just to get them to hate the NPP, vote them out, and vote in the NDC. The insecurity and lawlessness in the country. Could this not be partly activated by the NDC because they want to cause public disaffection for President Nana Akufo-Addo/Dr. Bawumia and their NPP government? Cite Samuel Ofosu Ampofo's secret meeting and audio messages where he was coaching some NDC faithful to carry out loads of crimes against the Ghanaian publi c to deceive the public into believing that the NPP government is weak on the security and safety of the people, etc. The obvious corruption and malfeasance by some of the government appointees. Are these unique to NPP? This needs explaining, but corruption in all its forms and shapes and whoever is committing them are condemnable. How will it be dealt with? The divisions within the NPP. This must quickly be resolved. Get Alan Cash back into the NPP fold. Get the peeved Kennedy Agyapong's supporters back into the campaign wagon. Get all the lukewarm NPP leaders who are currently sitting on the fence twirling their fingers and praying to witness NPP and Dr. Bawumia get defeated to prove a point back into active campaigning. There is a lot to say; however, I will end here since a word to the wise is enough. The road is not as smooth as we see it. Therefore, the NPP members, the supporters of the party, and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia must start working hard if they really want to break the 8. It is possible to bre ak the 8 but it comes with assiduous efforts or work. All the fans of Rockson Adofo must please campaign to make the election of Dr. Bawumia a reality. He is overflowing with ideas, policies, and programs that can make Ghana great if he is elected and able to implement them. His other rival in the NDC is a completely shallow mind full of insults and lies and incapable of moving Ghana forward socio-economically. Source: Ghana Web
