Rabat - Local authorities, in coordination with the various departments, services and authorities concerned, have taken all necessary measures to address potential damage from heavy storms expected or observed in several provinces of the Kingdom and provide all forms of necessary support and assistance, while mobilizing all resources and means to ensure the safety of citizens and property, the Interior Ministry said in a press release on Saturday. Concerned about the safety of citizens to prevent the possible risks of these weather conditions, the ministry calls on citizens in all provinces affected by these bad weather conditions to observe caution and vigilance, particularly along rivers and ravines. To ensure their safety, the ministry also urges citizens not to venture to cross flood-prone sections during periods of river flooding, to take the necessary precautions to avoid any danger, to avoid risky behavior and to interact positively with the recommendations and instructions of public authorities and intervention teams, the press release concluded.
