"Until now exempt from police checks, ambulances and similar vehicles, vehicles transporting mortal remains, armoured vans transporting foreign currency or other goods, mining and quarry vehicles, as well as diplomatic corps vehicles, etc., will now be subject to police checks at the entrance to Ouagadougou, to prevent any possibility of perfidy," indicates a press release from the municipality. The same source invites drivers or heads of mission on board said vehicles to present, in the event of a check, the mission order or the duly completed patient transfer form, or the order for the transfer of mortal remains, signed by the competent authority, or the mission order signed by the head of the company responsible for the transfer, or the diplomatic card. "In any case, the inspection services, i n addition to the documents presented, reserve the right to carry out other checks on the vehicle or on individuals," the note specifies.
