Cairo - A new group of 86 Moroccans and their families residing in the Gaza Strip were evacuated on Tuesday to Egypt, via the Rafah border crossing. This operation took place under the direct supervision of His Majesty the King's Ambassador to Egypt, Mohamed Ait Ouali, and in coordination with the competent Egyptian security authorities. It comes following the events that the Gaza Strip has been experiencing since October 7, due to the Israeli escalation. On this occasion, several beneficiaries of the operation expressed their gratitude to HM King Mohammed VI and the various parties who ensured the smooth running of this operation. Moroccan embassies in Egypt and Palestine have jointly carried out a series of evacuation operations for 375 Moroccans and their families residing in Gaza, via the Rafah crossing.
